The luck of having visitors has graced me again and for my semestrial break we traveled south. I have been soaking in the beaches but it was time to quench the thirst of mountains and rocks. Jamie and Ashley flew into Inhambane, and after a short two days on the beach we headed to Swaziland with Ali. I was in luck because it turns out that Swaziland is made up of boulders. So we got that going for us...which is nice.

That is the entire airport.

Throwing back an entire pineapple.

Yes that 'capalana' (or sarong) has a waterbuffalo on it.

The stilted huts of Flamingo Bay...and two tresspassers.

After arriving to Swaziland, we quickly realized that it was heaven. Exept the fact that the girls are less clothed than I am and they don't allow catapults. You do the math!

But the milk is great.

I had to leave all of mine at the border.

A number of us went on a hike but I quickly got lost with Jamie (you know where this is going) and I made her watch me rock climb allllll day. It was great!

Hairline crack, kicked my ass.

The was my first and last move of this problem.

But I managed to dominate the V0.

Topping out. Another V0!

We all have to meet our match at some point in our lives.

If you're lucky you'll conquer.

After our day in the sun we headed to a national park just outside the capitol of Mbabane. The scenery was fabulous including warthogs, ostrages and springbok strolling among our tents.

The peak on the left is Execution Peak. We celebrated a hard earned summit.

There's a debate as to exactly what species these belong to.

Also a debate about these.

We also found this wild Cenetaur.

Speaks for itself.

A crocodile cooling down with a family of hippos.

While on my trip I received a call saying that somebody was selling my computer at the local university. So, I wasn't surprised to find a hole in my house when I returned home. I have a signed testimony from the theive and all missing items will be in my posession this sunday. Another tally for a non-consequential robbery. Go figure!

The undergroud safe I built that will now guard my goods.

After working my ass off building my safe I needed another quick jaunt before beginning the second semester so we headed to a secluded peninsula on the northern half of the Bay of Inhambane, Punta Linga Linga. We met some fabulous hosts who put us up and fed us. They also took us on a memorable cruise through the bay on their inflatable yaught. Cocktails were flowing freely, along with our driver. After half a dozen sandbank encounters we arrived and not one fishing net was ruined.

This, as always, sums it up.

And now...back to work.
